Here at Maggie Dixon Real Estate we don't believe in filling you with false hope just to get your business. Our sales team will assess your situation, then armed with the very latest information on transactions in your area, your salesperson will give you an honest appraisal of where your property sits in the market today, along with a detailed explanation of how we will achieve the highest possible price for you.

HOW MUCH WILL YOU CHARGE ME TO MARKET MY PROPERTY?

At Maggie Dixon Real Estate we don't charge our clients for the work we believe we are supposed to be doing anyway - finding you a buyer. The commission that you pay is our success fee, if we don't succeed in bringing you a buyer who will pay a price that you will accept, then you pay us nothing at all.

HOW SHOULD I GET MY HOUSE READY TO SELL?

The adage, "First impressions count" is certainly true in real estate. From the moment prospective purchasers come through the door, you want them to be impressed. It certainly can influence the price of your property, sometimes by thousands of dollars.

AND IT DOESN'T TAKE MUCH:

  • Tidy up the garden and add some colour by bringing in some flowering pots, for instance.

  • Touch up any paintwork that needs it.

  • Check windows and screens for cracks and holes.

  • Clean more space in wardrobes by removing extra clothes Store extra furniture to make rooms look larger.

  • Take items from kitchen cabinets to make them look more spacious.

  • Clean up the garage and storage areas.

  • Keep pets under control and use flowers or air fresheners to disguise odours.

  • Finally, pop on some music, make some coffee or bake some bread (the aroma is always inviting), and put out some fresh flowers.
